Valleycrest Pool member volunteers
Valleycrest Swimming Club has always been a volunteer effort. Covering all the hours and knowledge that pool members contribute, using member fees only, would make for some truly eye-opening math.
The lower the costs, the more members we will attract. The more members — the more volunteers…
Our membership fees cover the salaries of lifeguards and the maintenance of the pool. Making everything else come together for our kids and ourselves takes volunteers.
Everyone giving a hand where they can; will lighten the overall load for all volunteers. It will also help strengthening the pool community feel.
Volunteering benefits all of us. There will always be things to do — everyone can make a difference! What better way to get to know people, and make new friends, than giving someone a hand?
